Survey
Surveying your job site is the first and most essential step of your signage or graphic project. A proper survey involves arial pictures, exact measurements, and documentation of the current conditions of the job site. This information is crucial to help avoid any future mistakes throughout the design or production processes.
Sign Design
To start the design process, our team of expert designers will require the corporate logo you have chosen to use for your interior or exterior signage. Your corporate logo should be in either a Vector or EPS format. We need your logo in either of these formats to be able to scale your logo for the different applications needed, such as dimensional (3D) signs or self-adhesive vinyl cuts.
Graphics
To begin the design process for a digital printing application, such as anything related to printable media, our designers will require a vector, bitmap, or photoshop file format. Usually these files are big, so sending them through dropbox will prove to be most effective.
Sign Permits
Getting the necessary city permit approvals for a sign or graphic project can seem nearly impossible, especially in the LA area. However, with a license in Electrical Sign Contracting and over 17 years of experience dealing with various city halls, our team can not only help you get the necessary permit approvals, but can also help you legalize projects that are non-compliant with city ordinances and codes.
Fabrication
After our clients have spoken to our design team and agreed upon a final design for their sign or graphic project and all the necessary city permits have been approved, the next step is for the project to go into manufacturing. We use state-of-the-art technology to manufacture both interior and exterior signage. By using cutting edge technology, we ensure the quality, precision, and durability of every sign or graphic we manufacture.
Installation
After your custom sign project is all said and done, the final step is careful and proper installation. Our expert technicians are trained in utilizing the proper tools and equipment, such as cranes, bucket trucks, boom lifts, and scissor lifts, to accurately execute both indoor and outdoor installations. We also have longterm relationships with nationwide installers that allow to perform these installations nationwide.
Sign Repairs
We have expert technicians and the necessary equipment to perform various electrical and non-electrical sign repairs. This will first involve our technicians visiting the job site to evaluate what needs to be done. Since electrical signs have many components in them, the proper diagnostics will help us figure out what exactly needs to be repaired or replaced and how to do so in the most efficient way possible.
Retrofitting
In regards to retrofitting, there are many old signs that were made with first-generation neon tubing and fluorescent lighting that will require excessive and repeat maintenance. By retrofitting these signs to new generation LED Illumination, we can ensure little to no maintenance and overall energy efficiency. Retrofitting is encouraged by most municipalities according to California Title 24 Building Energy Efficiency Standards. These standards “are designed to ensure new and existing buildings achieve energy efficiency and preserve outdoor and environmental quality.”
